Disability Inclusion Consultancy: Incurably Wonderful

Most disability support is either too generic, too theoretical, or too far removed from the realities that disabled individuals and patients of long-term chronic conditions are navigating. As a dedicated disability advocate, I offer practical, honest support — for organisations that want to become disability confident employers and for individuals trying to make difficult decisions.

The consultancy is new. The expertise behind it is not.

I draw on expertise from various sources. My own lived experience with disability and chronic conditions provides me with an intimate understanding of the challenges faced by disabled individuals. Additionally, my Master’s in Disability Studies and five years as a founder and director of Incurably Wonderful CIC equip me with vital insights. I have collaborated directly with NHS organisations, universities, local councils, governance panels, and patient groups. As a governor for the Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust and the LCRCA Disability Panel, I offer insights informed by practical, first-hand knowledge rather than abstract theoretical frameworks.

Offering Two Pathways

1. For Employers

I provide support for employers, health services, public bodies, universities, charities, and other organisations looking to improve disability inclusion, accessibility, governance, and service design in sustainable ways through disability confident employer training.

2. For Patients of Chronic Conditions and Disabilities

I also support disabled individuals and those living with long-term health conditions who seek to stay in work, return to work, navigate Access to Work, or determine what support they need.

How the work is approached.

My approach is relational, practical, and grounded in lived experience. I prioritize understanding the realities of the situation over neat theoretical concepts, creating plans specific to your needs and circumstances.
